What we offer
There are a number of levels of training leading to Certification. These levels of training are described below.
BASIC INTENSIVE TRAINING
You will learn the underpinning theory in a practical and meaningful way, from which to build insights as you put Choice Theory into practice in your personal and professional life. Learning about the psychology of human behavior with Choice Theory, enables participants to put it into action using Lead Management principles.
There is a combination of clear explanations with practical role-play practice and hands-on exercises where you will learn powerful techniques to help yourself and others to navigate challenges and achieve success.
BASIC PRACTICUM
Basic Practicum: This is approximately 6 months of exploration of your use of Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management. It involves a minimum of 15 hours face to face contact with your supervisor (can be the same person who instructed your BIT, but not necessarily). It includes the development of personal growth reports, case studies and some reading of William Glasser’s work.
ADVANCED TRAINING
Advanced Training: You will need to complete the practicum completion form which will be sent to GANZ who will advise you of possible training dates and the venue for this advanced stage. You will have a different instructor from your Basic Intensive Training, as required by the Institute. This course digs deeper into the theory and helps you develop effective questioning/counselling techniques.
